It isn't as easy as it looks on some of the blogs. Yes, I was never really hungry, but I felt constantly surrounded by foods that I am not supposed to have. I didn't succumb to temptation and managed to get through the day on Pure Protein. I had a meeting at my house tonight and served wine, beer, cheeses, candy and other snacks--and while I love all those drinks and foods, it wasn't as challenging as I thought it might be just to stay away from them. It helped that I had sirloin steak for dinner along with some Greek yogurt just before everyone arrived.
At breakfast I had a galette and vanilla yogurt. For lunch I had a grilled chicken breast. Later in the day I had a hard-boiled eggs and also a few chicken livers when I felt hungry.
This afternoon, I made 1/2 of a turkey breast (no oil, just spices) in the oven and I will eat that for lunches, snacks in the next few days.
Tomorrow I am invited to a luncheon and I am dreading it--I want to stay with the program, but have no idea if anything will be served that I can eat and I can't cancel out.
It's going to be tough, I'm afraid.
